We are partnering with a well-established, independent mixed practice in York to recruit a Newly Qualified / Foundation Dentist. This role suits a motivated clinician who wants structured support, a safe step up from FD, and a clear pathway to build both NHS productivity and private confidence in an affluent area.

About the practice

• Longstanding, trusted practice with a patient-first, comfort-led approach
• Supportive, multidisciplinary team including full-time Hygienist/Therapist, Treatment Coordinator, and experienced nurses
• Modern environment with refurbished surgeries and a calm, high-standard culture

The role (FD-friendly step-up)

• General dentistry with genuine scope to grow private: cosmetic, restorative, Invisalign-style ortho, endo and an implants pathway (with support)
• Inherited list available to help you start with a stable diary
• Mentoring from an implant-focused Principal/Owner plus approachable senior clinicians in a collaborative, open-door setting
• 3-5 days

What’s on offer

• UDA rate: £14 | UDA target: negotiable with a sensible ramp-up
• Private: 50/50 split | Lab fees: 50/50
• Strong private potential in the practice historically (with the right support and conversion)
• Tech & kit: multiple intraoral scanners, CEREC in-house, digital X-rays in every surgery, rotary endo, Exact SOE

Requirements

• GDC registered
• NHS Performer Number (or due on completion of FD in September)
• Confident, coachable clinician keen to develop under mentorship and expand private skills over time
